How to Draw an Easy Cow

1. Begin the easy cow outline by drawing the animal's eyes. Use curved lines for the bottoms of the eyes and enclose partial ovals above them. Shade a large oval inside each eye. Draw curved lines above the eyes to indicate eyebrows.

2. Use a curved line to enclose the bean-shaped snout below the eyes. Shade two teardrop-shaped nostrils on the south. Use a curved line to enclose the lower jaw below the snout, and a long line to enclose the round head.

3. Use curved lines, doubled back on themselves, to enclose the floppy ears and the curved, triangular horns.

4. Draw a curved line down the center of each ear. Below the head, use two long curved lines for the sides of the leg, and connect them at the bottom. Band the leg with a short line to indicate the hoof. Then, connect the head and leg with a curved line, forming the chest.

5. Use curved lines to enclose the remaining front leg and foot. Then, draw a line to begin the rear leg. Connect them with a curved line that forms the belly.

6. Use a long curved line to draw the cow's back and the back of its leg. Band the bottom of the leg with a line to indicate the hoof. Then, draw a curved line between the leg and the belly to draw the cow's udder.

7. Enclose three half circles along the udder to form the teats. Draw the remaining rear leg and hoof. Then, from the rump, extend two curved lines that are closely spaced and roughly parallel. This will become the cow's tail.

8. Draw a teardrop-shaped tuft of fur at the end of the tail and texture it with curved lines. Draw a circle around the cow's eye.

9. Use curved lines to enclose rounded spots all over the cow's body.

Your easy cow outline is now complete. Color your cow. Cows with spots are often black and white Holsteins. Sometimes, though, cows are white with brown spots or brown with white spots.
