How to Draw an Easy Ghost

1. Begin the easy ghost outline by drawing the eyes. Use curved lines to enclose two upside-down teardrop shapes.

2. Next, draw the open mouth. Use a long, wavy line for the top of the mouth, with short lines at the corners. Then, use another long curved line for the bottom of the mouth.

3. Use a long curved line to sketch the head and top of the arm. Double the line back on itself at the end of the arm.

4. Extend the opposite end of the line to form the opposite arm, again doubling it back on itself at the tip. On the first arm, use overlapping "U" shaped lines to give the impression of fingers.

5. Draw "U" shaped fingers on the remaining arm. Below the first line, extend a curved line to form the specter's side. Again, double it back on itself at the tip.

6. Use long and short lines that meet at jagged points to continue drawing the ghost's body.

7. Use long and short lines that meet at jagged points to draw the remaining side of the body, fully enclosing the figure.

8. Draw two small crescent shapes, below the body, one on each side.

9. Texture the body with long and short curved lines.

Your easy ghost outline is now complete. Color your cartoon character. While it's true that ghosts are often depicted as white, you can use cream or grey to shade it and give it dimension. Or, you might use other colors, like blue or green. Don't forget to shade the eyes black, red, or some other color.
