How to Draw a Great Looking Ice Skate for Kids and Beginners - Step 1
1. Begin the ice skate outline by drawing a long, curved line. This line traces the shape of the shoe's upper.

2. Continue the line to form the toe. Then, draw a long curved line from the front of the shoe to the back. Then, enclose a partial rectangle to form the heel of the boot.

3. Continue the line from the heel to the front of the skate. Then, use curved lines to enclose two more rectangular shapes under the sole. These are the openings in the blade of the skate.

4. Use a long curved line for the bottom of the blade and a shorter curved line for the back of the blade.

5. Erase the front of the blade and draw a zigzag line across the opening. Then, draw a small, irregular round shape near the top of the shoe. This is one of the brackets for bracing it.

6. Draw two more irregular round brackets. Then, draw two curved rectangles, erasing as necessary. Enclose a small half circle at the ends of the rectangles.
