1. Begin the Gotham City outline by drawing the bridge. Use long curved lines to create a hashtag shape. Connect the top lines with short, straight lines.

3. Use a series of long and short straight lines to outline a cluster of city buildings. Draw long curved lines from the top of the bridge to its surface. These are the cables of the suspension bridge.

4. Use a series of long and short straight lines - and one prominent curved line - to continue the city skyline.

5. Enclose a rectangular building behind some of the others. Then, use a series of straight lines to enclose more buildings, including one with a pointy spire.
