Learn More About The Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul Drawing

"I'm not the protagonist of a novel or anything. I'm just a college student who likes to read, like you could find anywhere.

But... if, for argument's sake, you were to write a story with me in the lead role, it would certainly be... a tragedy."
— Ken Kaneki, Tokyo Ghoul

Ken Kaneki is the protagonist of Tokyo Ghoul anime and manga series. Ken was an ordinary student living a normal life, until he was transformed into a ghoul - a humanoid organism that feeds on flesh.

Only ghouls have an organ known as kakuhou, or "red wrap." After receiving one in transplant, Ken became a "one-eyed ghoul" or "half-human."

He then had to learn to live as a ghoul amid a spurt of murders in Tokyo. He has gone by the aliases Eyepatch, Centipede, Haise Sasaki, Black Reaper, One-Eyed King, and Dragon.
