How to Draw Sailor Venus

1. Begin the Sailor Venus outline by drawing her face. Use long curved lines that meet at points to draw her hair, cheeks, and chin. Use shorter lines to draw her winking eye, open eye, nose, and open, smiling mouth.

2. Continue drawing her hair, using long and short lines that meet at points. Draw a "V" shaped headband on her forehead with a jewel in the center.

Draw her ear and band her hair with three lines. Extend two lines below the head to form the neck.

3. Use long curved lines to draw the large collar of her garment, as well as the bow on the front and the crescent-shaped sleeve.

4. Draw her arm, placing bands around it at the shoulder and elbow. Use overlapping curved lines to sketch the upturned hand and fingers.

5. Draw her remaining arm, hand on hip, again noting the rings around the shoulder and elbow. Use curved lines to draw the side of the torso and the "V" shaped top of the skirt.

6. Draw the bottom of the "V", then use long lines for the sides of the skirt. For the pleated bottom, use curved lines that overlap one another.

7. Draw curved lines along the skirt to indicate the pleats. Then, extend two long curved lines to form the leg. Draw a high-heeled shoe at the bottom.

8. Draw the remaining leg, again using two long, curved lines and a high-heeled shoe at the bottom.

Next, finish her hair. Use long curved lines for the sides of the hair, and a series of shorter lines that meet at jagged points to connect them.

9. Texture the hair with curved lines. Draw a crown on the head and the sides of a bow just above the hips. Band the torso, neck, and collar with curved lines, and use short lines to contour her collar bones.
