How to Draw Supergirl

1. Begin the Supergirl outline by sketching her face. Use short lines to outline her eyes, eyelids, eyebrows, nose, mouth, ears, and the sides of her face.

2. Draw Supergirl's hair blowing in the wind. Use long curved lines that overlap and meet at sharp points.

Then, extend two lines below her head to enclose her neck and shoulders. Contour her neck with a short line.

3. Continue drawing her long hair. Again, use long curved lines that overlap one another and meet at sharp points.

4. Extend the lines of the shoulders and double them back on themselves to form Supergirl's arms. Then use two curved lines to trace the sides of her torso.

5. Extend the lines of the torso to outline the hips. At the ends of the arms, Use overlapping curved lines to sketch her hands. Enclose a rectangle shape around the neck, and band it with two lines.

Then draw the Superman logo on her chest. First, enclose a pentagon shape, then outline a large "S" shape within it.

6. Use curved lines to enclose a "V" shape across the hips. Then, use long, overlapping curved lines to draw the pleats of her short skirt.

7. Extend a long curved line and double it back on itself to form her leg and foot. Notice the overlap of lines at her ankle.

8. Use two curved lines to outline her remaining leg, partially hidden behind the first. Band each leg with a curved line to indicate the top of the boot, then use short lines to contour the knees.

9. Use a series of overlapping, long curved lines to outline Supergirl's cape.

Your Supergirl outline is now complete. Color your comic book character. Supergirl has blonde hair. Her suit is blue and her cape, skirt, and boots are red. The Superman logo is red and yellow.
