Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing the Pentagon
How to Draw a Great Looking Pentagon for Kids and Beginners - Step 1
1. Begin the Pentagon outline by drawing its namesake shape - a five-sided pentagon. Draw another inside it.
Make it three-dimensional by enclosing a rectangle at the front. Draw yet another, smaller pentagon in the middle of the shape. Draw pairs of lines from the middle pentagon to the corners of the inner pentagon.
Drawing Step 2
2. Use straight lines to enclose three more layers of pentagons inside the middle shape. Enclose several small trapezoids and rectangles as well. On the front of the building, draw a rectangle and two squares, erasing as necessary.
Connect them to the top of the middle pentagon with short, straight lines. This, too, adds to the 3D effect of the building.
