How to Draw a Cute Dolphin

1. Begin the cute dolphin outline by drawing its cartoon eye. Start with a curved line then enclose a partial oval on top of it. Shade a smaller oval inside it to indicate the pupil.

2. Draw the second eye. Again, start with a curved line then enclose a partial oval on top of it. Shade a smaller oval inside it.

3. Use curved lines to contour the eyelids, eyebrows, and snout.

4. Use a series of curved lines to enclose the open bottom portion of the mouth - the inner and outer outlines of the jaw, the tongue, and the corner of the mouth.

5. Use a long curved line to draw the dolphin's round head, back, and tail, Then use another curved line for the belly and opposite side of the tail.

6. Use curved "V" shaped lines to draw the dolphin's flippers. Extend a curved line from the base of the tail and double it back on itself to form one side of the tail fin.

7. Extend a curved line from the opposite side of the tail and double it back on itself to enclose the full tail fin.

From the back, extend a curved line and double it back on itself to enclose the dorsal fin. Draw a curved line near the pectoral fin to indicate the change in coloration of the light underbelly.

8. Continue the line of the belly coloration on the opposite side of the fin. Then Extend a long, wavy line from the tail fin to indicate the splashing water. Draw a teardrop-shaped water droplet above it.

9. Extend the wavy line of the water on the opposite side of the tail. Then draw more round splashes above it.
