Drawing Step 2

2. Use a series of curved lines to enclose the dragon’s curved triangular horn. Notice how the lines overlap near the tip to give it a three-dimensional appearance.
Then, use overlapping curved lines to draw the lower jaw and neck. Use ”V” shaped lines for the horns at the side of the face, and curved lines for the nostril and below the eye.

3. Use a long curved line for the back of the dragon’s snakelike neck.
Then, use a series of overlapping curved lines for the dragon’s chest and foreleg. Notice the lines that meet at points, forming bony spikes along the elbow.
Drawing Step 4

4. Use curved lines that meet at points to draw the remaining toes on the dragon’s foot.
Then, use a series of overlapping curved lines to draw its belly and rear leg. Again, note the triangular spikes on the back of the ankle.
Drawing Step 5

5. Use curved lines that meet at points to draw the remaining toes on the rear foot. Then, use similar lines to draw the remaining forefoot, poised in mid-step.
Drawing Step 6

6. Draw the remaining rear leg, using a pair of curved lines for the leg and lines that meet at points for the claws.
Then, use long curved lines for the leading edges of the wing. Notice the curved triangular claw at the tip.
Drawing Step 7

7. Draw long, slightly bent lines starting just below the curve triangular claw. These represent the bones and joints of the wing. Use curved lines to connect them thus finishing the dragon’s wing.
