How to Draw a Quokka

1. Begin the quokka outline by drawing the animal's face. Enclose a circle with a line beside it for the nose.

For the eyes draw two ovals. Draw two smaller ovals inside each of the first ovals and shade around them.

2. Enclose two partial circles inside the nose to indicate the nostrils, and extend a curved line from inside the nose to below it.

Then, use curved lines to draw the smiling mouth and tongue. Use a series of connected, curved lines that meet at jagged points to enclose the side of the quokka's furry face.

3. Use long curved lines to outline the ears. Then, use a jagged series of lines to connect the ears and to sketch the remaining side of the round face. Contour each ear with another curved line.

4. Use a series of jagged lines to draw the sides of the animal's furry body. Sketch the upper portion of the arm using short curved lines - some that meet at jagged points and others that are unconnected.

5. Use a series of overlapping curved lines to enclose the lower portion of the arm and the paw. Then, use a series of short, jagged lines to draw the upper portion of the remaining arm.

6. Use a series of overlapping curved lines to enclose the remaining front paw. Then, use a long curved line to continue the back and haunches.

7. Use long and short curved lines - some that are unconnected and others that meet at jagged points - to draw the upper portion of the rear leg and the belly, fully enclosing the body.

8. Use a long curved line to draw the remaining upper rear leg, with a few jagged, short lines for a furry texture at the bottom. Then, draw the rear feet using overlapping curved lines.

9. Complete the rear foot using overlapping curved lines for the toes. Then, texture the quokka's fur with short lines in its ears, around its eyes, and on its body.

Your cartoon quokka outline is now complete. Color your drawing. Quokkas are brown or gray in color. The insides of their ears are pink.
