Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing an Anteater

How to Draw a Great Looking Anteater for Kids and Beginners - Step 1

1. Begin the cartoon anteater outline by drawing the animal's head. Use a long curved line doubled back on itself for the narrow face and snout.
Shade a small circle at the tip of the snout to indicate the nose, and another for the eye. Use short curved lines for the ear and brow.
Drawing Step 2

2. Use overlapping curved lines to draw the foreleg in mid-step. Notice the long claws at the tips of the fingers and the jagged, furry lines at the elbow.
