How to Draw a Great Looking Easy Cartoon Mushrooms for Kids and Beginners - Step 1

1. Begin the easy cartoon mushroom outline by drawing the stem, which is called the stalk.
First, use short curved lines that meet at points to draw some grass at the mushroom's base. Then extend two curved lines upward.
Drawing Step 2

2. Leave a space and draw a large "C" shaped line above the stalk. This will form the mushroom's cap.
Between the cap and stalk, use curved lines to draw a series of connected rectangle shapes. This is called the ring or skirt.
