Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing a Flying Unicorn
How to Draw a Great Looking Flying Unicorn for Kids and Beginners - Step 1
1. Begin the flying unicorn outline by drawing the animal's face. Use overlapping curved lines for the top and bottom of the face and the mouth.
Use shorter lines for the eye, eyebrow, nostril, and corner of the mouth. Shade an oval in the eye and another for the nostril.
Drawing Step 2
2. Use a series of curved lines to draw the ear, the front of the mane, and the triangle-shaped horn. Shade a teardrop at the corner of the eye to indicate eyelashes.

Drawing Step 3
3. Use overlapping curved lines to continue the mane and to draw the chest and foreleg.
Drawing Step 4
4. Enclose the curved rectangular shape of the hoof at the end of the leg. Use long curved lines to draw the remaining foreleg, with a rectangular hoof at the end.
Then, extend a long line from the shoulder, forming the wing. Double it back on itself at the end, forming a pointed feather.
Drawing Step 5
5. Use "U" shaped lines to make the feathers of the wings. Notice how they become smaller as they approach the body. Then, use overlapping curved lines for the belly and rear leg.
Drawing Step 6
6. Use long lines to complete the legs, and draw rectangular hooves at the bottom. Notice the little jagged points just above the hooves that add the texture of fur.
Drawing Step 7
7. Complete the mane, using lines of different lengths that meet at points. Then draw the tail, again using curved lines that meet at points.
