Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing Grandpa
How to Draw a Great Looking Grandpa for Kids and Beginners - Step 1
1. Begin the grandpa outline by drawing the nose. Use overlapping curved lines for the bridge and tip of the nose. Then, draw the eye. First, place a curved line at the top of the cheek.
Use curved lines to enclose the rectangular eye above it, and the eyelid above the eye. Inside the eye, enclose a circle within a circle and shade between them to form the pupil.

2. Use curved lines to enclose the other rectangular eye and its lid alongside the nose. Again, draw a circle within a circle and shade between them to form the pupil.
Then, use a series of short, connected curved lines to enclose the bushy mustache and one of the eyebrows.

4. Enclose and contour the remaining ear. Then, use wavy curved lines to draw the hair above the ears, erasing as necessary. Use curved lines to draw the wrinkles between the eyebrows.
Draw a "V" shaped line beneath the head, and connect it with short lines, enclosing the neck. Use two more "V" shaped lines to draw the shirt collars on each side of the neck.

6. Draw two more "V" shaped lines beneath the collar, indicating the neck of the vest. Use a long curved line for the front of the torso, and shorter lines to complete the first hand, draw the remaining sleeve, detail its cuff, and contour the fabric of the vest.
Easy Grandpa Drawing - Step 7
7. Use overlapping curved lines to draw the remaining hand. From it, extend a pair of long, curved lines, and connect them at the bottom. This is the grandpa's cane or walking stick.
