How to Draw a Great Looking Scarlet Macaw for Kids and Beginners - Step 1
1. Begin the scarlet macaw outline by drawing the bird's face. Use curved lines that meet at a point to draw the top of the beak; enclose the bottom portion with a curved line.
Use a wavy, jagged line to outline the area around the eye. Draw two successively smaller circles to form the eye, and shade the inner one.

2. Use curved lines to draw the top and bottom of the bird's head. At the base of the neck, use wavy lines to add the texture of feathers.

3. Extend a long curved line to form the bird's belly. Then, use overlapping curved lines to draw its legs and feet. At the end of each toe, shade a curved, triangular claw.

Then draw longer lines to sketch the long flight feathers along the edge of the wing. Draw wavy lines around the neck.
