1. Begin the claw outline by drawing a large, teardrop-shaped claw. Use overlapping curved lines to draw the nail bed and toe behind it. Contour the nail bed with a short line.

3. Draw a large, teardrop-shaped claw on the new finger. Use a curved line to complete the nail bed. Then use curved lines to begin sketching another finger beside the first.
