How to Draw Pete the Cat

1. Begin the Pete the cat outline by drawing his eyes. Use curved lines to sketch the half-circle shapes.

2. Outline two partial circles in each eye, one inside the other. Shade between the lines. Then, draw an upside-down triangle between the eyes to form Pete’s nose.

3. Outline Pete’s head. Use overlapping curved lines to sketch the top of his head, his triangular ears, and the sides and bottom of his face.

7. Draw a straight line to form the back of the final leg. Then, draw a shoe on the adjoining foot. Again, use an inverted triangle for the tongue of the shoe, curved lines to outline the sides and sole of the shoe, and short straight lines to indicate the laces.

8. Extend a pair of curved lines from Pete’s back and hip. Allow them to spiral before meeting at a point, forming the tail.

Then, draw a sneaker on the remaining front foot. Use an inverted triangle for the tongue of the shoe, curved lines to outline the sides and sole of the shoe, and short straight lines to indicate the laces.

9. Complete your Pete the cat outline by drawing the final shoe. Use an inverted triangle for the tongue of the shoe, curved lines to outline the sides and sole of the shoe, and short straight lines to indicate the laces.
